ENCTA Meeting – December 7, 2023
Hello faithful members of the Eastern NC Turfgrass Association,
It’s that time of year again. The leaves are falling, the Carolinas GCSA Conference starts tomorrow, and we are just under a month out from the Eastern Association’s annual business meeting. Our annual business meeting will be held at Wedgewood Golf Course in Wilson, NC on December 7th, 2023. We will start registration at 9:15 am, the meeting will start at 10:00 am with lunch and golf to follow.
At the meeting we will be honoring the service of 3 board members who will be completing their term. Neil Jones, Evan Jarman, and TJ Quate will be cycling off the board this year. We appreciate their service and professionalism over the last 2 years, and sincerely hope they will continue to be active, supportive members of the association.
Over the last several months our Vice President, Chris Dunn, has assembled and lead the nominating committee. He reported to me that the committee has nominated the following members for the 3 upcoming board vacancies:
Nick Gibson – Cutter Creek
Todd Holt – New Bern CC
Brad Brook – Tri Est Ag
Please take time to consider these individuals. All other members of the current board have agreed to continue to serve in their current roles, until the end of their term. Asa membership, we will vote on the current nominations at the meeting onDecember 7th.
Hopefully, I will see many of you at the Carolinas GCSA Conference and Trades Show this week. Until then, stay warm and dry.
