Rounds4Research Donations

To all of our Eastern Turfgrass Association members and sponsors,

I hope that everything is going well for you as the growing season begins. The directors on the Carolinas GCSA board are making another big push for R4R this year. In 2024 we set our goal of $150,000 and raised over $144,000 to fund turf research. Our goal as a Board in 2025 is to keep the great momentum of the past few years and eclipse the $160,000 mark. This seems like a lofty number but there are still many courses and clubs in the Carolinas that are not participating. Let’s change that in 2025!

All we are asking for is one foursome please. We are sending messaging out to the owners, club managers, and professionals as well to help alleviate any stress in asking for the donation.

Yes, some facilities restrict outside play – but you can always make a cash donation of the value of the same foursome to ensure your club is included in the list of those who gave. Given the year that we’ve had in parts of the Carolinas; we understand that a donation may be more appropriate for some facilities that wish to give, while facing difficulties.

Whatever the donation, it is an investment in better playing conditions and insurance against things that threaten golf course turf. Every donation does matter, and this program allows the opportunity for every facility to participate and help make a difference in our playing surfaces at home!

It just takes a couple of minutes to donate online at Rounds4Research.com
